Day 22: Place of Care/Birth
This is Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) in Norfolk, Virginia. This is where my daughter was born and lived for two days. I believe there was no better place for her to receive treatment and the best chance at life. Although this is where ultimately she left us, I still feel a close bond to this hospital as it was the last place I held my daughter, now nearly 17 years ago.
