Good Housekeeping Pop Quiz FAIL

The February issue of Good Housekeeping magazine ran a pop-quiz by their etiquette go-to person Peggy Post. I can not find it on their website anymore so I'm taking that as good news that is was removed. However it is in print all over the world so it's important to let GH know how we as BLMs feel about their quiz. Since I can not find the quiz any longer, I will be using another blog post to give you the quiz details.

Your coworker shared her good news that she was pregnant. Later, you learn that she has miscarried, so you:
A. Say nothing, some things are private
B. Leave flowers on her desk with a note
C. Tell her you are there if she wants to talk.
And the answer provided by Peggy is [insert drum roll]  " A "
What? Really? Say NOTHING?
So as has been suggested, I wrote a letter to GH to let them know my feelings on their pop-quiz. We have worked so hard to bring a voice to pregnancy and infant loss and what a set back to have thousands of readers pick up this magazine and read this. WOW. So if you are so inclined, visit GH on their FB page to continue to remind them of their pop-quiz that failed us or write a letter to GH at ghletters@goodhousekeeping.com.
